So the world didn't end. The Mayans seem to be wrong. Or, maybe not. Just because they didn't create a sixth calender, doesn't mean the "Golden Age" is the last age. After December 21st, the human race is went into a new era, it didn't end. Did anyone realize they may have not wrote a Dec. 22, 2012, because it wasn't relavent. Who goes out and buy a 2015 calender in 2013? So things may change, but it doesn't appear that they are going to end. Change has always been a driving force of humanity, and it tends to make us stronger.
So you say nothing drastic happened friday. I say, 'how do you know?' Do you know everything that has happened anyone in the whole world? Most don't show anyone an art project before it is finished. If you look at cross stitch when only half the colors are sewn in it can look quite awful. There are many important events happening everyday. We tend not to notice them until they are fully played out. Not to be a conspiracy theorist but since when has the government been an open book?
Nostradames wrote and drew prophacies of destruction. He also said we have a chance to prevent it and if not prevent it, servive it. There is a medical situation where someone who 'recovers' from a debilitating trauma can end up functioning at a higher level then before the trauma occured. Dark days may happen, or they may not, but that's when you get out the candles and work on that sketch by the flickering lights. It is important to stay true to yourself and true to your projects, though they may not exactly turn out like you hoped. If you look hard enough, they usually end up better. Just try to picture yourself after the sun comes back out, when you can sit under the shade of a big tree and crochet that cute tank top you've been eyeing.
As this is my first post I don't want to give a false impression.
I hope most of my posts will be alot brighter, but I'm not making any promises. Some may get downright depressing. I do promise to talk alot more about different crafts. Some maybe downright boring such as intructionall posts, such as how to make a Tunisian wristlet I've designed. Most importantly I plan on writing about things that help me deal with being a disabled girl just trying to get through the day, trying to be a better me. My hobbies are a big part of me and I will write about my journey that mostly travels through my head.
Thank you for taking the time to read this far and since you haven't moved on to something else, I hope you enjoyed it. Please tell me what you think and continue to follow the quest of a girl who prefers not to leave her home. Until my next post I bid you adieu,
The Confined Crafter
